As Director from 2002 – 2010, INFA-MED launched: a small group CME program, ALSO obstetrical skills course, scholarship program for residents. Current projects include: Africa-relevant clinical decision support resources on smartphones (Digital African Health Library); comprehensive basic emergency skills course to promote rural hospital teams (CALS Essentials); and developing faculty expertise in teaching and mentoring (Eastern Africa Health Professions Educators' Association).
